[15 Jan 2006|08:48pm] [ mood | calm ] wow. its been a while. I've been so busy with school and work that I have barely had time to post. I have school 40 hours a week, and now I am a stylist a Hairquarters. I dont get many hours at work, but at least it is experience. When I worked for Bellezza they only let me shampoo clients, and let me pulled through a colour on a very rare occasion. Sweeping floors and shampooing, yup. thats what i want to do with the rest of my life. Now I am actually building up a clientelle and doing things hairstylists are supposed to do. I am entering a competition in April. I am doing fantasy hair design. I am going to do a japanese anime meets fairy type thing. I think i have found my model but its just a matter of getting the info finalized. It is going to be really fun. If i win i get a scholarship to the vidal sassoon academy in toronto. which would totally rock. plus i could say i am an award winning stylist, even though i am yet to be licensed. Terrance and I are moving out in April. His step mom and my mom both mentioned about buying/helping us buy a house. If Terrance's step mom bought it she would rent it out to us (rent to own) and if my mom did it she would just co-sign the lease with me so that I would be able to afford it on my credit. I think we are also planning on living with adam just because it will be easier on the expenses. I have become so addicted to CSI (Las Vegas, not the other crap ones). Greatest show ever. Its like a drug. Ok, so i only watch like 3 or 4 episodes a week, and thats about all the tv i watch, its still a lot for me. I replaces sex and the city with csi... though i am sure once i finish watching the csi seasons i have i will go back to sex and the city for a while. i want to shave my head into a mohawk. i dont know how well that will work with my undercut though... maybe i will have to wait till i grow out the undercut. and than i will colour it like BRIGHT red or magenta. fucking sweet. my hair is so fried, i might as well just kill it some more. post comment

dread wigs for sale [16 Oct 2005|05:37pm] hey girls (and guys) for my portfolio for school i want to make some crazy dread wigs but unfortunately i cant afford the cost of all of them; i am looking to make about 5 i am estimating a cost of about $200 for each of these wigs... which is WAY cheaper than i sell them for on my website... around $400 usually since i am using mostly plastikhaar for these wigs i have a couple colour combos in my head but if anyone is interested but doesnt like the colours let me know and we can work something out here are the colour combos i am interested in doing 1. moos grun petrol grun wassermelon black base -blended and swirled 2. peperoni rot black base -blended and swirled 3. neonorange gelb mandarin pink orange rot - transitionals 4. purples (about 4 different shades), white and black -blended 5. blues (about 4 different shades), with some hot pink accents -blended, swirled, solid you can reply here or email me amy[at]knottyangel[dot]com check out my (currently under construction) website http://www.knottyangel.com x-posted 4 comments|post comment

[05 Aug 2005|08:56pm] [ mood | drained ] i went through my closet today and took out some clothes that i havent worn in a long time a lot of the clothes were around a size 9 i wish i could fit into a size 9 but no matter what i try and do i just seem to get bigger i am eating healthier now than i have in the longest time but i just keep gaining weight maybe i am just ment to be huge this sucks... i wish i could fit into those size 9's because so many things i have are cute 1 comment|post comment

falls experiment [16 Feb 2005|05:51pm] I am looking to experiement on a pair of falls that include dreads (solid colours and twists) as well as rexlace. As I have never worked with rexlace before, and am very interested in doing so I am offering this deal to people interested: Pair of long falls (approx. 28-30 inches) - 15-20 double enders per fall mounted on elastic lace with quite a bit of rexlace. I am interested in doing the following colour schemes: -black base with green and purple accents using Sparkle Silver, Apple Green and Lilac rexlace. -blond/lightbrown base with pink and light blue accents using Sparkle Silver, Pink, and Light Blue rexlace.
